About Debbie

People often ask me how I became a psychic medium.

The truth is, my connection with spirit began when I was very young. When I was eight years old, I stayed overnight with family friends, and during the night, I woke and went downstairs, where I heard someone playing the piano. In the sitting room, I saw a lady in a beautiful dress playing. She looked back at me, carried on for a while, then stood up and walked through the wall.

The next morning, I described her to the lady of the house, who explained that it was her sister, who had passed many years before. The room had once been hers, and the wall she walked through had been built later. At that age, I had very little understanding of what I had experienced. Years passed before I began to explore mediumship more deeply.

In my early thirties, I met two wonderful platform mediums, John and Jeanette, who became dear friends and helped me understand spiritualism, mediumship and proof of survival. From there, my journey truly began.

I went on to train with one of the largest spiritual organisations in the UK, because it mattered to me that my work was grounded, responsible and developed with care. My path has taken me through different countries, different cultures and many different conversations about spirit. What has always mattered most to me is honouring each person’s beliefs while offering evidence, comfort and connection in a way that feels respectful and loving.

Today, from my home in the Lake District, I continue my development and run readings, sittings, soul journeys and development circles. For me, mediumship is about love, hope and reassurance. It is about helping people feel the support of spirit and understand that the connection with those we love continues beyond this physical life.

Alongside my mediumship, I have also worked as a counsellor since 1999 and bring together spiritual guidance, emotional support and life experience to help people receive the very best from their session.

I specialise in helping people from many different walks of life, from business people, to individuals facing challenging times at any stage in their life. That help comes in the form of support, knowledge, wisdom, life experience and guidance through a deep psychic connection, mediumship, and medical intuitive assistance.

I have over 30 years of experience incorporating NLP (Neuro Linguistic Psychology) mindfulness, EQ (Emotion Intelligence), stress management and healing into my practice.

I take the approach of using various methodologies to help my clients gain a deeper understanding of the purpose of their life’s journey. This in turn leads to peace of mind, growth and an appreciation of the purpose of life and how to turn a tribulation into triumph.

I am here to help you if you feel you are suffering, physically-drained, emotionally and mentally lost, confused or at a crisis point in your life. Do you have major decisions to make? Where the ego rules and the heart is hidden. I aim to reduce the ego and increase the heart space, so that the obstacle is over come and progress can be made to move forwards.

Why You May See References to Yugenwisdom

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to explore my website. I truly appreciate your interest.

As you have been looking through my website, you may have noticed references to Yugenwisdom/YW in some of my videos and other content. You may be wondering what the connection is between this and Debbie Loring.

The answer is quite simple.

Between 2018 and 2021, I was unable to openly work under my own name as a medium or publicly share my spiritual work due to the restrictions of where I was living at that time. To enable me to continue supporting clients and developing my work during that period, I created a company name that had no direct connect to my name
Through YW, I continued to work with clients from around the world, offering spiritual guidance, evidential mediumship readings, mentoring, and demonstrations of mediumship for private groups. It became the home for my spiritual teaching and the community I was privileged to build.

Now that I have come home those restrictions no longer apply. I am delighted to once again work under my own name, Debbie Loring, bringing together all aspects of my work and experience in one place.

So, if you come across references to Yugenwisdom please know that it is simply an earlier chapter of my journey. The values, integrity, experience and commitment to supporting others remain exactly the same, they have simply come home under my own name.
